Note from the artist about this piece:
This photograph was taken in Towner's Woods, Franklin Township, Ohio in 2007. This piece is from the series "The Space Between," a monograph at Kent State University's Eels Gallery at Blossom Music Center. "The Space Between" was started as an illustration of a visual meditative process which focuses not on the objects in the world around us, but on the space between those objects. This meditation allows for the mind to diminish the obfuscation of existence by materialism and recognize the inherent value of thought.
