Note from the artist about this piece:
My favorite time at the seashore is low tide. The ocean invariably leaves something interesting behind to capture. That day at Ecola State Park I came away with a series on seaweed tendrils, deposited in swirling designs. I've also rendered them in black and white, which emphasizes the geometric nature of the subjects.
