A cute little sanderling quickly grabs a snack as the coastal waves start to surround him or her along the shoreline of Panama City Beach, Florida, United States. The golden sunset glares on the Gulf of Mexico along the Emerald Coast casting beautiful light on the water and wet sand. I love to watch these fast running small birds. They are so cute and entertaining to watch. The sanderlings are part of the sandpiper family. they are wading birds. In the far distance you can see the Russell-Fields Pier. Behind me is the MB County Pier.
