Note from the artist about this piece:
I worked on this Planter series as a personal project during the first few months of the Covid pandemic to keep me from going stir crazy when I had little else to do.
These are not true watercolors. They were photographs first which I then reworked in the computer, using various techniques, to produce a watercolor-like image. I like the fact that I can get precise lines and edges when I want, like architectural details, which are very difficult to pull off in true watercolor. In many ways, I think it's the best of both worlds.
