About Zane Lancaster:
Zane Lancaster was born in 1979 in Evanston, Wyoming. He received a BFA in Painting from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2003 and an MFA from The University of Utah in 2008. He was awarded an Individual Artists Fellowship by the Wyoming Arts Council in 2006, an Alvin Gittins Figurative Painting Fellowship in 2007, and the 2008 Ethel Armstrong Rolapp Award. Lancaster currently teaches drawing and painting at the University of Utah and is represented by Salt Lake City’s ‘A’ Gallery.
