About Ursula Barton:
My Oregon roots bare much responsibility for my art career. After graduating from Pacific Northwest Collage of Art in 2010 I gave up my car for my bike, and the rainy commutes, combined with a very large accidental ink spill in my studio, inspired my first collection of cityscape paintings that forever changed my way of working with ink and water. 2014 was the beginning of my mural career. Finding joy in the physicality of large-scale painting, I began to paint any walls and odd spaces I could find. Almost a decade later, I am now traveling around the country in my van, enjoying the ride, and creating artwork of all sizes inspired by new environments and opportunities.
