Try Serino

Try Serino's work confronts the fundamentally opposing ideas of experience and metaphor. Conceptual relationships between color and value influence her work.

Try works with a variety of materials, including gesso, acrylic mediums, charcoal, and photographs. Adding layers of pigment to build up the image, she attempts to illustrate the sometimes-darker beauty hidden in each work.
