About Tim Engelhardt:
Pittsburgh resident, Tim Engelhardt, has been working as professional artist since 2014. Using his background as a graphic designer and illustrator combined with his passion for abstract art, Tim creates pieces that are dynamic and engaging, integrating a variety of mediums to create layers of transparency, fields of color, and bold marks. His influences are many but centered around light, colors, movements he sees in the environments he experiences.
Tim maintains a studio practice at Radiant Hall in Homewood. In addition to his studio work, Tim designs and installs murals throughout the region and sometimes, beyond. He has had work in group shows with the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, Pittsburgh Society of Artists, and the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh as well as solo shows at Athiti Studios in 2022 and 2024 and Borelli Cellars in 2023.
