About Sujata Tibrewala:
Born in Jaipur, the Pink City of India, Sujata inherits her love for art from her maternal grandmother, who enjoyed occupying herself with “creative works of the hand." Sujata was almost always chosen to represent her school in every art competition, and she won many awards as a result.
Although she trained as an image processing expert and worked as network engineer, her young daughter’s experimentation with paints and her husband’s literary interests revived her artistic spirit. In 2008, she gave up her career to pursue art and has since had several successful exhibitions and workshops at various venues all over India and in St. Louis, Missouri. She now uses her engineering background and knowledge of science to spread art and issues close to her heart.
