Steve Weinik

Steve Weinik is a Philadelphia-based photographer. Weinik’s professional work focuses on artwork in public space and the artists that create it. His personal projects focus on wildlife and the natural world. Through thoughtful planning, and decades of experience, Weinik has developed a skill in knowing where to be to create the most compelling imagery.

Weinik's photography has been published or broadcast in The New York Times, The Washington Post, National Geographic, CNN, 60 Minutes, CBS Sunday Morning, The Guardian, Time Magazine, Popular Photography, The Wall Street Journal, and by The Sundance Institute, as well as in dozens of books, academic journals, periodicals, newspapers, and countless websites.

In addition to photography, his work on the documentary Resurrect Dead helped earn the film a spot at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the U.S. Documentary Directing Award.

Weinik lives with his family in Northwest Philadelphia and is always seeking new and interesting projects.
