Stacia Goodman

As a mid-career, professional mosaic artist, Stacia brings site-specific, highly engaging mosaic artwork and large installations to public and commercial venues throughout the U.S. Her award-winning work is known as colorful, culture-building wonders that capture an inclusive narrative in refreshing combinations of singular or mixed media: ceramic tile, sparkling art glass, mirror, wood, and/or reclaimed materials.

Thematically, her work often draws on nature to inspire personal and community healing, resiliency and pride. As a tenacious, self-taught artist who grew up in a single-wide trailer house in rural Northern Minnesota, her life’s work is creating public art that is accessible to all. She finds the mosaic medium the perfect metaphor to convey transformational possibility and beauty.
