About Sheree Greider:
Sheree Greider is a self-taught artist who tells stories through her works, where color, movement, and texture all play vital roles. The Oklahoma expressionist painter finds inspiration to create through her nature walks, current events, changing skies, and the unique qualities of individuals. As a grandmother of a multi-racial family, her children and grandchildren often serve as inspiration.
Greider paints quickly, using bold strokes with oils and acrylics, as well as other materials to create interesting textures.
“I seek to express emotion and atmosphere of all that inspires me, whether through a portrait of the house next door, the intensity of an old warrior, or a blazing thunderstorm.”
