About Sarah Spillers:
Sarah Spillers is a contemporary painter and art educator from Nashville. Her recent work focuses on capturing the essence of local businesses and neon signs in her hometown, reflecting the vibrant and dynamic spirit of the city. Through her art, Spillers aims to promote unity and connection within the Nashville community.
In 2022 and 2023, Spillers was recognized as Nashville's "Best Visual Artist" by the Nashville Scene, highlighting her unique and impactful contributions to the local art scene. Alongside her artistic endeavors, Spillers currently pursues her MFA at East Tennessee State University, where she continues to expand her creative horizons and knowledge.
Spillers also served as Kenect Nashville’s Resident artist, during which she completed a captivating mural in their space. In addition, she leads engaging art sessions at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center as part of their artist residency program, further enriching the artistic landscape of the community through her passion and dedication.
