Sarah Schools

Sarah Schools' artwork captures the ever-changing glow of the Carolinas. As both a painter and digital artist, she discovers color in unexpected places, drawn to the dreamlike quality of golden hour, the richness of a cornflower blue shadow, and the delicate light that transforms the landscape when the sun hits just right. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Appalachian State University, where she developed a strong foundation in both traditional and digital mediums. Blending realism with impressionism, she creates pieces that evoke joy and vibrancy, immersing viewers in the energy of the world around them. Inspired by the marshlands and waterways, the historic streets of downtown Charleston, and the rolling peaks of the Appalachian Mountains, she finds endless inspiration in the Southeastern landscape, which serves as the heart of her work.
