About Sara Kissing:
Sara Kissing is a German-born contemporary pop artist who spent many years in California before establishing her studio in Naples, Florida. With a background as an award-winning creative director and brand leader, she brings a strong sense of storytelling, composition and visual identity to her fine art practice.
Her layered mixed-media paintings combine acrylic, typography, graphic elements, collage and 24k gold leaf, exploring subjects ranging from automotive culture and iconic figures to destinations, architecture and contemporary lifestyle. Kissing is particularly known for her luxury automotive work and currently has original paintings displayed through Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini Naples, as well as galleries and interior design showrooms throughout Florida.
Her work extends beyond existing collections into private commissions and site-specific concepts developed around the history, location, identity or story of a client or environment.
She holds a BFA from the University of Texas and an MFA from the Design Institute Münster, graduating with honors. Her background in both art and creative direction allows her to create highly recognizable work while adapting imagery and storytelling for hospitality, corporate and commissioned environments.
