About Sandrine Lecointe:

Hi,
Behind the name Sukilopi is me, Sandrine.
Like many artists, my love for drawing and painting started in childhood and never left me.
My work lives in a whimsical world shaped by watercolor and layered textures, where ethereal portraits drift and hot air balloons wander through suspended skies.
Within these airy spaces, small narratives unfold, subtle and open-ended, inviting you to linger rather than arrive.
I’m interested in what cannot be easily explained: the feeling of a memory, a spark of imagination, the stories we carry but never express.
Recurring elements like portraits, balloons, and celestial forms become vessels in my work, holding fragments of time and inner landscapes.
I hope my art feels immersive, like entering a place where meaning is felt more than understood.
I create for children, for adults who still carry their inner child close, and for those who know that some things are not meant to be reached.
