Roger Dolin

Roger Dolin grew up in Los Angeles where he has spent the last 30 years designing and painting murals. His work can be seen in private homes and public spaces across Southern California including Keck Medical Center in Pasadena, Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Woodland Hills, and the City of Avalon on the Island of Catalina

For the last 20 years Dolin focused on public art initiatives working with schools and government agencies including the Cities of Glendale, Eagle Rock, Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. He also directed the Public Arts Initiative for The Museum of the San Fernando Valley.

Dolin’s recent series of paintings is heavily influenced by decades of hiking in and around the local mountains surrounding the community: taking complex images of local landscapes, deconstructing them down into discrete sections and painting "one square at a time.”
