Almost abstract at first glance, Rhy Jouett's photography frequently reveals the overlooked world existing unseen in the corners and cul-de-sacs of everyday life. He believes that "the profound can be realized by careful observation of the mundane" and that and our understanding of beauty is informed by this perception.
More literal in nature, Rhy's other artwork includes painting/drawing, multimedia, electronic media, and sound/noise. He lives in Denver, Colorado, where he develops software, creates, and attempts to engage gracefully in life.
