About Racquel Miller:

My journey as an artist has been anything but conventional. I am self-taught, guided not by formal instruction but by intuition and a willingness to explore. Each canvas begins as a conversation—a gentle invitation to let go of expectation and follow where color, texture, and movement lead. I work primarily with professional-grade acrylics on heavy-duty, gallery-wrapped canvas, building layers that evoke both tranquility and vitality. My process is meditative, rooted in gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us and the peace that art can bring.

Since 2020, I have embraced abstract art as a joyful exploration—a way to capture the essence of a moment or a memory rather than its literal form. My paintings are not just images; they are invitations to pause, to breathe, and to reconnect with the natural world. I hope that those who encounter my work feel a sense of calm and wonder, as if stepping into a quiet clearing after a long journey.

Alongside my life as an artist, I am a wife and mother of three boys, and I balance my creative practice with a career as an employment coordinator. These roles inform my art, reminding me daily of the importance of presence, patience, and care. Every piece I create is original, crafted with intention and a deep respect for the viewer’s own experience.

Ultimately, my hope is that my art offers a moment of peace—a reminder that beauty can be found in both the wildness and the stillness of life. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
