Pernilla Persson

Pernilla Persson is currently living and working in San Francisco, California, with a lifestyle as an art-inspired, creative being.
Born and raised in Sweden, she moved to Boston, MA to study Photography at New England School of Photography. Pernilla desired to deepen her knowledge in her artform and Boston was the perfect city to explore her longings for education.

Pernilla choose to use the fabric of nature or human bodies as her brick & mortar foundation for her work. Her imagery travels from very simple shapes and forms into abstract settings and painterly photographs. While she appreciates photographing outdoors with natural light; Pernilla challenge herself bringing the environment in to a more controlled landscape where she creates images that have feeling, depth and texture

She has exhibited her photography in Europe, USA and Asia. You can find Pernilla’s work in various collections throughout the world.
