About Neil Wyrick:
Neil Wyrick, Maine Artist.
Originally from Aberdeen Washington, Neil has lived in Falmouth Maine since the early 90s. He was educated in painting at Western Washington University and at Artist’s studio in Seattle. He specializes in oil paintings of street scenes, lobster boats and the Portland waterfront, rendered in a realistic style reminiscent of paintings from the 1930s. His talent for using vivid color and early morning light to animate his paintings has been widely commented on. He has exhibited original oil paintings at Yarmouth Frame and Gallery in Yarmouth, Maine for over 15 years and also Hole in the Wall Studio Works in Raymond Maine. Before that he exhibited at Little Sebago Gallery in Windham, Maine.
