Nan Peletz

San Francisco, CA

About Nan Peletz:

For many years Nan Peletz was the head of an architectural practice. During that time, she designed the headquarters for the W. M. Keck 10M telescope observatory which was a collaboration between Cal Tech & UC Berkeley. She also designed many residences, and the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford University. The last building Peletz designed was a painting studio for herself; where she practiced while earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from the California College of the Arts. Peletz participated in a group show at the American Academy in Rome, where she was a visiting artist. She has had solo shows at the California Supreme Court, and the George Lawson Gallery. She is also founder of the FAIR START Biennial Art Exhibition in San Francisco, CA.
