About Monice Morenz:

Monice Morenz was introduced to printmaking as an undergraduate student at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master's in education, Monice taught students in Bermuda, Connecticut and Massachusetts. In 1998, she was introduced to a group of vibrant artists and an active printmaking community on the South Shore and in Boston. After that, she collaborated with other printmakers on the South Shore and curated many art exhibitions.

In 2009, Monice purchased a "Tackach":http://www.takachpress.com etching press for her art studio that has allowed her to further experiment with printing methods and materials. She is most excited by the multi-dimensional aspects of printmaking, and has created prints from "collagraphs":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collagraphy, woodblocks, "intaglio":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intaglio_%28printmaking%29 plates and stencils. She has also incorporated her print designs in notecards, handmade books and collages.
