About Michael Stewart:
Michael Stewart is a multi-disciplinary art director, graphic designer, and fine artist. After studying Fine Art at Rhodes University, he built his creative career in Durban before moving to Switzerland in 2010. He now divides his time between Switzerland and Scotland, and works with some of Europe’s top design agencies.
His art is rooted in the experience of a life lived both in Africa and Europe; referencing literature, music, and popular culture. Taking visual cues from Street Art, Pop Art and Pan-African Art; it speculates on a fairer, more equitable world which lies just beyond our reach.
