About Melissa Fassel Dunn:
Melissa is a self-taught painter and photographer whose creative journey began in earnest in 2001, when Adult Education painting classes with Boston artist Anthony Riccardi reignited a lifelong passion for art she had carried since childhood.
Working primarily in acrylics, she creates vibrant, whimsical works that reflect her love of color, imagination, and the joy of slowing down in an otherwise busy world. P
ainting became not only a form of self-expression for Melissa, but a cherished means of quieting her mind and escaping into a world of her own making. Balancing a full and active life as a mother of three daughters, she carves out dedicated nightly painting sessions, approaching her craft with the same energy and enthusiasm she brings to her many other pursuits.
Beyond the canvas, Melissa channels her creativity into photography, digital marketing, and entrepreneurial ventures, drawing inspiration from travel, nature, and the world around her. Her work is a reflection of her spirited personality: colorful, expressive, and full of life.
