About Marya Triandafellos:
Marya Triandafellos is a New York–based visual artist who creates large-scale public art using digital and generative tools. Her work explores color, abstraction, and the transcendent power of visual perception to evoke joy, presence, and connection.
With a background in creative leadership at global companies such as American Express, Marriott, and Etsy, Triandafellos brings a strategic and collaborative approach to public and site-specific art.
She holds a BFA in Design from the Hartford Art School, magna cum laude, and a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from NYU’s Gallatin School.
Her career highlights include a 10-piece installation in Washington Market Park, a permanent mural at Stonewall House, and an 80-foot mural for the American Museum of Natural History.
Her work has been featured on the digital façade of the NASDAQ building, 2,500+ LinkNYC kiosks, and in exhibitions such as MvVO Ad Art Show, Frieze Art Fair, and NYCxDESIGNxSOUVENIR.
Triandafellos’ practice is inspired by concepts from science, psychology, and cultural systems and every day experiences translating these into vibrant, contemporary compositions for public engagement.
