About Lorrie Boydston:
Lorrie Boydston is a painter and art educator based in Kansas City, Missouri. Boydston's diverse body of work is inspired by Suburban life and architecture. Her work includes representational suburban landscapes, abstract, mixed-media paintings, and works on paper. Boydston’s work has been included in numerous local and regional exhibitions and publications. She has been part of the Arts KC's Now Showing corporate exhibit program for over 10 years. Boydston is an active member of the Kansas City Artist's Coalition and was a resident studio artist from 2019-2022 and was a delegate Artist Inc KC program in 2019. Boydston has a degree Art Education from MSU and a Master's degree in painting/studio from UMKC. She maintains an active studio practice and teaching career in Kansas City, MO.
