Creative Oil Painter-Trained Professional Artist
Lori Weeks is all about being creative. She was painting by the age of nine, studying under several professional instructors. She honed her artistic talent for graphic design and fine art at the Art Institute of Dallas and the Memphis College of Art. She is best known for her collection of impasto, impressionistic paintings that incorporate unique color schemes and textures.
An Arkansas native, Lori spent her formative years at the lake in Heber Springs, where she enjoyed the outdoor pleasures that now find their way onto her canvasses. Her versatile artistic talents are expressed through her array of works featuring a variety of subject matter and painting techniques. Lori’s paintings are best known for their depth, bright, vivid colors, and thick textured paint that gives them life. She is also well known for her subdued paintings that represent images of life and bring calmness and peace to all who enjoy them.
