About Lindsay Megahed:
Hello! I am Lindsay Megahed, a painter of whimsical landscapes and playful abstracts.
After working in web and design in the corporate world for many years, I found my real passion in painting when I decided to stay at home after the birth of my first son. As I enter into my second decade of fine art painting, I like to keep my art fresh by experimenting with new mediums, subjects and sizes. My paintings range from small, tranquil oil landscapes to bold, bright and big abstracts.
If I had to describe my style in one word I would say it’s colorful but I rarely keep to the same theme or palette for very long. I’m inspired by the colors of the changing seasons we are lucky to witness in the midwest and I also love to incorporate peaceful seascapes into my art inspired by our frequent travels to both coasts. My heart is happiest when I can share these sunny scenes of life with others.
