About Linda Slattery Sherman:
Linda Sherman is an abstract painter whose work centers on intuitive discovery. By allowing the canvas to set the direction, her art evolves organically—shifting from large, gestural movements to intricate surface textures. Her background as a longtime graphic designer grounds these fluid explorations with a strong sense of composition, structure, and color harmony. Whether her paintings remain purely abstract or reveal emerging subject matter, the process remains a meditative, spiritual journey for Sherman. In her own words: "The best paintings come when I lose myself in the process. The journey is equally as important as the finished product, sometimes more so."
