About Linda Curtis:
Linda Curtis was born and raised in the coal regions of Pennsylvania. Her art developed as a resistance to her gray surroundings. She is known as a "colorist". She wanted to be an artist from a very young age and graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. The West Coast called and she settled in the Bay Area. She currently lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains surrounded by the beauty of the redwoods. Linda loves to experiment with different media, and subject matter. Stephen Quiller has been a contemporary inspiration. Linda recently won an award in the national casein competition judged by Quiller. She is a signature member of the California Watercolor Association and the International Society of Acrylic Painters.
She gives demonstrations, and classes in the Bay Area. For the past 9 years, Linda has also taught watercolor on cruise ships.
