Lauren Rogoff

When Lauren was a little girl, she loved animals and art so much that I used to say that, when she grew up, she wanted to be a "veterinarian with pictures all over the walls." Ultimately, though, she would rather wield a paintbrush than a scalpel! As the daughter of a veterinarian and an art dealer, her passion for both painting and animals was established very early. Lauren uses watercolors to best capture the expressions of her animal subjects, and getting that face, those eyes, or little ears or curl of tail, just right. Lauren works from a photo of your pet, and her watercolors are detailed and lifelike. Lauren is a self-taught artist, but has painted over 500 custom pet portraits and many hundreds of other animals and creatures.
