About Larry Merenstein:
As an artist, I am a constant observer. Even seemingly random experiences inform my art exploration. I am enamored of Art in history and culture. In my work I borrow elements of Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism, POP, Minimalism, Conceptual, and Hyper Realism; and assemble my work through a unique perspective and lens. Though the result is highly personal and shaped by an intimate environment it is informed by past and current events of interest and concern to a wider mass audience. It is an intersection of Mass Media and Natural Forces.
