About Karlynn Francis:
Karlynn is a lifelong artist of many mediums, including watercolor, paper collages, pen and ink, and mosaics. She dreamed of an art career, but, ultimately, had an IT career at, of all places, Hallmark Cards, where she got to work with technology supporting the Creative teams. She never stopped creating art or trying new mediums while working in IT and is inspired by architecture and nature in much of her art. She loves looking for and capturing all the fine lines in a building’s architecture or the many colors of a feather. Doing paper collages and watercolors of buildings made her stop and really look at and appreciate all the details in the architecture that she had never noticed before. Her work often includes bold colors and lots of detail.
