About Jon Hall:
Jon Hall, a Pittsburgh-based urban landscape photographer, gathers his inspiration from patterns, texture, and natural light, using that visual landscape as a storytelling device for the area and the people who inhabit it. With a background in print design, Jon Hall incorporates his creative experiences and compositional awareness for aesthetic glimpses of the normalcy of life. Graduating with his Bachelor's degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master's in the Arts from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Jon Hall is a working artist who has taught art for over 15 years at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and numerous colleges in Pittsburgh, and is an accomplished and respected photographer.
He is a long-running member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh (AAPGH), a winner of American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and Hermes Design awards, and American Society of Photographers (ASP) photography awards.
