About Jeremy Stone:
Jeremy Stone is a classically trained photographer who began his formal education at the Defense Photography School in Pensacola, Florida, in 1997. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Photo Specialist from 1997 to 2000, capturing images in support of the Corps' mission during his service. Building on that foundation, he furthered his training at the FBI Academy in Criminal Investigative Photography and studied early digital editing techniques through EEI Communications in 1999, giving him a rare blend of military precision and technical versatility behind the camera.
Since leaving active duty, Jeremy has built a career around landscape photography and portraiture, developing an eye for both the grandeur of the natural world and the character found in a single human face. He is the owner of NEIA Photography (Nebraska Iowa Photography), and operates a teaching studio at 4140 South 89th Street in Omaha, Nebraska. There, he shares his knowledge with students of all skill levels, from those just learning the basics of photography to seasoned shooters working through masterclasses in Lightroom editing.
For Jeremy, photography is about far more than the technical craft. He believes a great image should reflect something the photographer is genuinely trying to convey, and he is driven by a desire to get the people around him outside, experiencing the world firsthand, whether through a viewfinder or simply by being present in a place. He finds that returning again and again to familiar locations reveals them in new light each time, and he sees photography as a medium with a unique power to bring people together. Through his work and his teaching, Jeremy hopes to help others connect more deeply with the world around them and enjoy their time on this earth a little more fully.
