Jeff Pica

New York, NY

About Jeff Pica:

Born and raised in a suburb of New York City, I came of age
during the 1970’s – an era celebrated for its hedonism and artistic exploration. After graduating from college, I moved to the city and began working for a major brokerage firm on Wall Street. It was
during this time that I developed a deep interest in fine art
photography and in the architecture of New York City’s iconic
“concrete jungle.”

After leaving Wall Street, I moved to the historic neighborhood
of Greenwich Village to pursue both an education and a career
in the visual arts. While studying photography at the School of Visual Arts, I managed a graphic design firm in the Village.
I later spent many years managing a 19th-century Greenwich
Village guesthouse operated by a charitable trust.

I currently focus on photographing the unexpected harmonies
between architecture and nature, both in New York and in
various urban and rural settings. My work has been recognized for its distinctive perspective and can be found in NYC galleries,
private collections, and hotels in major cities across the country. In addition to my artistic pursuits, I am also an ordained Spiritualist Minister and a founding member of the Spiritualist Church of NYC.
