Janice Hayes-Cha creates vibrant mixed media art collage from recycled get-well and other cards, a method she devised while in cancer treatment. She now collects greeting cards from all over the country and her work is imbued with the wishes, prayers and love from the writers. Each piece has depth and texture and reveals surprises for the astute observer. She lives and works outside Boston and her art brightens many healthcare and corporate settings, including Boston Children’s Hospital, Lahey Hospital, Einstein Medical Center, Stanford Children's Hospital, and Mass General Hospital.
