Jan Simmala is an artist whose work draws from her deep connection to nature, exploring themes of self-growth, transformation, and inner peace. Born in Laos and raised in the U.S., Jan uses art to navigate life’s challenges and express the universal journey toward balance. Her style shifted from impressionism, focused on capturing scenic landscapes, to abstract impressionism, as she sought to express the emotions behind the scenes she painted. With each piece, Jan balances stillness and movement, inviting viewers to pause and find clarity. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others to reconnect with nature, slow down, and find their own sense of peace.
