About James Gardiner:
James Cyril Gardiner, a gifted artist, excelled in art during his school years, passing O and A-levels with ease despite a challenging upbringing. He initially declined a place at Chelsea School of Art to care for his autistic brother, leading to 16 years in office and warehouse work. In 2001, a life-threatening car accident and subsequent rehabilitation reignited his passion for art. His work is inspired by a fascination with urban spaces and human interaction. James employs a variety of techniques, seeing the world as ‘A’, B or C’- Abstract Elemental Ventures with watercolour and acrylics, Blue Ballpen Pictures with meticulous Bic pen work, and Copic Colour Marker Captures of city life.
