James Campbell is a Washington DC-based artist who specializes in photography and graphic design. Last year, he founded "InstantDC":http://instantdc.com/, a non-profit that curates and showcases the best new art that DC has to offer. His current project is "DGBTR.com":http://dgbtr.com/, a website dedicated to polaroid instant photography from around Rockville, Maryland.
James' photographic style is post-minimalist reductional surrealism, which focuses on places and things rather than people. Where people are present in his photographs, they are part of a larger pattern, not the main subject. Or are they?
