About Harper Dangler:
Harper Dangler is a Vermont-born watercolor artist living in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. He grew up drawing and sketching, walking in the woods, swimming in lakes, playing the violin in orchestras, and singing in choruses. While mostly self-taught, he has studied watercolor painting at the Museum of Fine Arts and with watercolorist Paul Niemiec since 2021. He held his first major show in 2022 at the Chocolate Church Art Gallery and was recently accepted as an Emerging Artist Member of the Copley Society of Art.
Harper is attracted to the ever-changing beauty, joy, and wonder found along the water’s edge and amidst the trees. He creates art because it’s the most honest way to express himself, his values, and connect with other people. He hopes that his watercolor paintings give viewers a sense of peace, wonder, and appreciation for the beauty to be found in each day.
