About Gina Parr:
Gina Parr b: 1957, is a painter and photographer who 'paints' with her camera when traveling.
Originally receiving a First Class BA Honours Degree in Fine Art, she went on to Chelsea College of Art to study set design, leading to a 25 year career Production Designing Designing a multitude of sets such as: Eastenders original Albert Square and interiors, Shooting Stars, The Royal Variety Performance, The World Cup for the BBC and The Brit Awards for ITV, and has designed and created stages for the likes of David Bowie, Kylie, Cher and Robbie Williams, returning to her full time Art practice in 2007.
She has lectured at Chelsea College of Art and Nottingham University, has widely exhibited in galleries and art fairs in the UK and Europe, has completed commissions in UAE, Belgium, London, Scotland and the USA.
She was selected to show at the Royal West Academy Bristol and the ING Discerning Eye London in 2023, the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries and the Royal Academy Summer Show London in 2024, and the RWA in 2025.
In 2025 she collaborated with Glen Scotia Whisky, part of the Loch Lomond Group Glasgow, to produce a commissioned painting for their limited edition 50 year old whisky release cabinet.
Her works are held in many Worldwide collections including; Keble College Oxford, President Boston's Children's Museum USA, Director Jestico + Whiles Architects, Senior Economist Goldman Sachs and Vedanta London.
