About Gerald Knowles:

I have dedicated over 30 years to my dual passions of architecture and teaching. The journey of an architect is a rich tapestry woven from countless experiences in diverse spaces, where I immerse myself in the nuances of each environment. Every detail holds significance and contributes to my understanding of architecture as an interconnected whole.

For me, the practices of sketching, drawing, and photography are not merely techniques; they are vital tools that enhance my appreciation for the artistry inherent in every line, curve, and shadow. I find inspiration in how these elements harmonize to create impressive structures—be it the soaring spires of cathedrals, the intricate designs of villas, the thoughtful layouts of museums, or even the complex interplays within entire cities.

This holistic perspective is intricately woven into each of my art pieces, where I strive to capture the essence of the architectural forms and the stories they tell.
