About Farid Shahsavarani:
Farid Shahsavarani is an artist from Tehran, Iran, currently based in Alexandria Virginia. He left his architectural career in 2014 in order to focus on painting and sculpting. Farid's artworks are inspired by nature. He strives to create pieces that evoke emotions. Sculptures are created mainly in paper-mache and wood.
The "Garden Of Dreams" is a series of paintings that he has been working on for more than ten years. Through this series he endeavors to create a world of emotion, infused with movement and whimsy.
Currently Farid is working on a Waves series—a bold and linear approach that is exciting, colorful and contemporary.
