Emily Krill

Pittsburgh, PA

About Emily Krill:

Emily Krill is a Pittsburgh-based artist known for large-scale collages built from 19th- and 20th-century paper ephemera. Working with ledgers, letters, blueprints, penmanship lessons, and discarded documents, she constructs layered compositions from which figures, objects, and landscapes emerge. Krill's work treats memory not as nostalgia but as physical presence, something handled, altered, and carried forward.

She is represented by ZYNKA Gallery in Pittsburgh and online through Artful Home. Her recent solo exhibition, "What Remains", gathered new large-scale work, and she received an Honorary Mention at the Erie Art Museum's 104th Spring Show. Krill's work is held in private and corporate collections, including the Pittsburgh Foundation, the Carnegie Museum of Art, and BNY Mellon.
