About Chamira Young:
Chamira will readily admit it: she's an art nerd with an obsession for creativity and productivity. She firmly believes that art is more than just art. When placed in front of the right viewer within the right context, it can be a powerful tool for comfort and healing. It can turn a bare office into a warm sanctuary, or a cold sterile hospital into a warm therapeutic setting.
From an early age, she knew that creativity would be a large part of her life. From studying at the University of Michigan School of Art & Design (Go Blue!), to becoming an internationally recognized artist, to working as an excited graphic designer and illustrator at a book publishing company, her creative journey has been nothing short of thrilling.
Her current media of choice is a combination of handmade watercolor strokes and digital photography, with the end result being an expressive, emotional effect.
