Carol Abbott

Cincinnati, OH

About Carol Abbott:

"She paints happy!" is what people often say about Carol Abbott's artwork. Architectural subjects have been her favorites since she started painting the well-tended Victorian houses of her home town en plein air with the local art league at age ten. Abbott's preferred medium is acrylics, although she sometimes will paint home portraits in the watercolors and oils she used as a child. When not commissioned to paint portraits of people's homes, she focuses on well-loved local landmarks and has already painted more than 5 dozen "Happy Cincinnati" scenes with more in progress.
