Brooke Rowlands

Born and raised in central New Jersey, 29-year-old Brooke Rowlands has been a proud resident of Oklahoma since 2002. Brooke is inspired by a fascination for flowers, nature and color. With no formal art training, Brooke thrives when experimenting with new ideas and methods. Over the years she’s developed a homogenous blend of both contemporary and still life, often incorporating flowers, birds, trees and fish into abstract backgrounds.
Color is a driving force behind Brooke’s art, whether it be acrylic painting or paper collage. The strong contrast and sense of complimentary hues and patterns demand attention without begging for it. Brooke’s ultimate desire would be for her art to be in a home where it is appreciated simply for what it is, something beautiful.
