Brian Maryansky

Born in Connecticut, most of my time was spent skateboarding, bmxing, or bashing out music in the basement.

After high school I moved down to NYC and enrolled at The School of Visual Arts to pursue my interest in photography. I eventually gained a BFA in photography.

Somewhere along the way I found myself playing in bands and going on tour pretty much full time. This was kind of ideal for someone who loves music, loves traveling and loves photography. I consider myself lucky in that regard.

I prefer film.

My pictures have appeared in various magazines and on record covers and book jackets.
